To update the active payment method for a patient's payment plan, please follow these steps:
- Search for and select the patient that has the payment plan you want to update
- Select the “Payment Plans” card on this page
- Select the payment plan that you wish to change the payment method for
- Select “Change Payment Method” on the right side of the transaction.
- Enter new payment information.
- Click the blue “Submit” button on the bottom right hand side.
Once a payment method is updated the system will attempt to charge it when the plan's next payment is due. Patients can also update their own payment methods via their Patient Portal.
